Property Investment Facts And Statistics

Investment Facts And Statistics

Keep this in mind when considering property investment

The last 24 months has shown an outstanding capital growth in the UK housing market.  In 2003 alone it was over 26%.  On average, property prices double every 6-7 years.

Rents have risen on average by 13% per annum since 1962 according to the Office of National Statistics.

In the 32 years since the Department of Records have kept statistics, prices have risen in 28 years and have fallen in only 4 years.

According to the Investment Property Databank, the average UK property price rose by 59% between 2000 and 2003.

People fear an over building and saturation of new build properties.  Consider this.  Fewer new houses are being built than at any time since the 1920's.

Have you missed out on the property boom?  The answer is ABSOLUTELY NOT!! There has never been a better time to buy property.  A recent housing study shows that the average house price is set to increase from £100,000 to just over £300,000 by the year 2020. An average house today can expect to increase in value by almost 300%.

Since the 1960s the rental market has enjoyed a healthy increase of 13% per year. And the forecast for the next 10 years is a growth of 40%. The question is not can I afford to get involved in the property market right now? Can you afford NOT to get involved in the property market right now?

There are many ways to structure a property deal including little or no money down principles.  Our recommended mortgage brokers allow our members access to deals that can in some cases allow the initial property discount gained to be subsequently exchanged for the deposit required.

More millionaires in the UK have made their money from property than any other individual investment source.   Other sources include stocks and shares.  Which one do you think you could do well at?
